Insite Software, a Minneapolis, MN-based provider of B2B commerce platforms and data-driven solutions for manufacturers and distributors, raised $15m in growth capital funding.
Volition Capital, a Boston-based growth equity firm, made the investment. In conjunction with Roger Hurwitz, managing partner of Volition Capital, will join Insite’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to investm in its products, data-driven applications, and services.
Led by Tony Abena, CEO, Insite Software provides global manufacturers and distributors with the Connected Commerce Suite (CCS) that combines commerce, channels and content/data to drive better B2B buyer and B2C user experiences and higher sales. The solution allows for complex customer-specific inventory, pricing, promotions, quoting, configuration and budget management and also integrates with leading ERP, CRM and Web Content Management systems, and can be flexibly deployed either on-premise or in public/private clouds.
