OneShore Energy, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of software that aims to bring transparency for customers and investors in solar-diesel hybrid projects, received an investment from The High-Tech Gruenderfonds (HTGF).
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Philipp Kunze, founder and managing director, OneShore provides a software-based product suite that allows for standardized, validated planning and operation of solar-diesel hybrid facilities that aims to establish data basis for solar-diesel hybrid customers, and security for investors seeking to establish whether the systems can provide the predicted yields.
The company’s products have already been installed at customers in a variety of industries in Tanzania and Kenya, including hospitals, hotel resorts, remote village grids and industrial facilities.
