AirTame Raises $1.4M in Seed Funding

airtameAirTame, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based maker of a wireless device for connecting devices and computers to screens, raised $1.4m in seed funding.

Backers included Seed Capital and Tommy Andersen.

The company intends to use the funds for a full product launch in the second quarter of 2015.

Led by Jonas Gyalokay, CEO & Co-founder, Airtame provides a small device that plugs into the HDMI port on TVs or projectors to connect them to a WiFi network and share content from devices wirelessly.
The round followed an Indiegogo campaign in which the company had raised $1.3m from 13,977 funders.
