AlleyNYC, a NYC-based co-working space company, raised $16m in funding.
The round was led by Vandewater Capital Holdings, with participation from Entrepreneur Media.
Founded in 2012 by Jason Saltzman and Nsi Obotetukudo, AlleyNYC AlleyNYC operates a 16,000 square foot co-working space in MidTown Manhattan and a community for early stage businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs of all types. It offers desks, office space, conference rooms and amenities and perks.
The company intends to use the funds to expand to a 40,000 square foot second location in Chelsea.
