GuideSpark, a Menlo Park, CA-based provider of an employee communications and engagement platform, closed a $22.2m Series C funding round.
The fundraise was led by Meritech Capital Partners with participation from existing investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Storm Ventures and IDG Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Craig Sherman, managing director of Meritech Capital Partners, joined GuideSpark’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to increase its marketing, sales, product development, content, CSM, infrastructure, corporate and business development efforts.
Founded in 2008 and led by Keith Kitani, CEO, GuideSpark provides a platform that allows organizations to communicate and engage with their employees through customized video and mobile experiences for every stage of the employee life cycle, from onboarding to benefits.
Available on any device, the solution enables companies to educate employees on a range of complex topics, such as benefits, health care reform and compensation programs.
