Laurel & Wolf, a Los Angeles, CA-based online interior design marketplace, raised $4.4m in Series A venture capital funding.
The round, which brought total raise to $5.5m, was led by Charles River Ventures, with participation from Karlin Ventures, Upside Partnership, and Draper & Associates.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the team and launch new features for both users and designers.
Co-founded by Leura Fine and Brandon Kleinman, Laurel & Wolf is an online platform where users virtually create a room profile, pay a flat fee and receive designs from multiple interior designers. Once a client selects the designer they like best, they begin a revision period with their designer to perfect and customize their space. All designs consider the client’s overall budget, style, needs, and how the space should function.
