Clearpath Robotics, a Kitchener, ON, Canada-based global robotics company, raised USD$11.2m (CAD$14m) in funding.
The round was led by RRE Ventures with participation from iNovia Capital. In conjunction with the funding, RRE co-founder and managing partner Stuart Ellman will join Clearpath’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its robotics portfolio for industrial applications.
Led by CEO and co-founder Matt Rendall, Clearpath Robotics provides robot hardware, software and services to enable robot development, deployment and operation. The company works with over 500 brands in over 40 countries, serving markets that span industrial materials handling, mining, military, agriculture, aerospace and academia.
