Cohere Technologies, a Santa Clara, CA-based provider of wireless connectivity solutions, raised $35m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Telstra with participation from existing investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Lightspeed Ventures, and new investors Macquarie Capital and AME Cloud Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to scale operations and bring its new modulation Orthogonal Time Frequency and Space (OTFS™) to market.
Established in 2011 by Shlomo Rakib, President and CEO, Cohere Technologies has developed technology to unlock the potential of the wireless channel. Its OTFS has applications in wireless backhaul, fixed wireless access and 5G.
