Day1 Solutions, a Mclean, VA-based cloud services and solutions expert, closed an initial seed round of $2m.
The round was supported by 10 unnamed investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the technical cloud services and sales teams through new hires as well as targeted acquisitions.
Founded in 2012 by Luis Benavides, founder and CEO, Day1 Solutions provides commercial, government and higher education enterprises with experts to design, deploy and manage IT cloud infrastructure, services and solutions. Last year, the company acquired the cloud services business of a nationally recognized professional engineering firm and Logic Method IT, a cloud managed services provider.
