Splash, a NY-based event-planning company, raised $6m in funding.
The round was led by Spark Capital.
The company, which has raised $7.5m to date, plans to use the funds for product development and innovation and add key resources. Splash has also named Melissa Wallace as vice president of marketing and Naoise Irwin as Vice President of Product & Strategy.
Co-founded in 2012 by Ben Hindman and Brett Boskoff, Splash is the company behind experiential software designed to track and optimize events at scale, to control the experience from planning to post-event management and measurement supporting brands including Mercedez Benz, GoPro, Nike, the NBA, WeWork, Comedy Central, and Anheuser Busch and events for many leading technology companies including Facebook, Spotify, Uber, Tumblr and Google in amplifying their impact and reach.
