Flybits, a Palo Alto, CA- and Toronto, Canada-based platform that enables the creation of highly-personalized mobile experiences, raised $4.75m in the second closing of Series A funding.
The round was led by Vodafone Ventures, which joined previous Series A investors Robert Bosch Venture Capital and Trellis Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence in more than 21 countries.
Led by Dr. Hossein Rahnama, Founder and Chief Product Officer, Flybits provides a SaaS-based platform that enables consumer-focused enterprises to expand and manage mobile experiences that deliver targeted content and services. It supports the iOS and Android devices as well as emerging Internet-of-Things.
The company serves customers in retail, transportation, banking and event management both in North America and Europe.
