The round was led by founder Joel Trammell and angel investor Tom Greig.
The company, which has now raised $6m in total, intends to use the funds to increase the adoption of the software to CEOs of mid-size and large companies, advance product R&D, and expand the team.
Launched in February 2014, Khorus provides business management software and a methodology for CEOs to run their organizations and align employees to strategic objectives, get timely intelligence, and forecast the likelihood of achieving each goal, weekly.
Designed for companies with 100 or more employees, Khorus can be accessed via the Web or iPad. Version two of the software, which will support mobile devices, will be available in the next few months. The company has 25 customers in industries ranging from finance to healthcare to higher education.
