Midaxo, a London, UK-based provider of mergers & acquisitions (M&A) software, raised a combined €1.5m funding round.
Backers included Seed Fund Vera (which operates under Finnvera plc), Hiidenkivi Investment, the lead angel investor, and other private sources.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand the development team.
Led by Kaija Katariina Erkkilä, CEO, Midaxo provides a cloud-based M&A platform for managing the entire M&A transaction lifecycle. It allows buy-side M&A professionals to achieve transparency and control to make well-informed decisions, avoid risks and capture merger synergies.
Midaxo serves customers in the U.S. and Europe, including HP, Supreme Group, and Danfoss, and is seeking to continue to grow in the Americas. To this end, the company has launched its platform in the U.S. and established a North American subsidiary in Waltham, Mass.
