Poachable, a Seattle, WA-based anonymous talent marketplace, raised $750k in funding.
Backers included Vulcan Capital and Dawn Lepore, former CEO of Drugstore.com.
To date, the company has raised $1.8m.
Led by CEO Tom Leung, Poachable operates a platform that allows candidates to tell about themselves and what kind of career opportunities might trigger them to leave current jobs. The platform then find those opportunities and if users confirm interest in any, it reach out to the employer and gauge their potential interest without revealing their identity.
The platform has over 35,000 passive job-seekers in functions such as engineering, UX design and product management and over 1,000 companies signed up including Fortune 500 corporations such as eBay, Cisco, Amazon, Microsoft and Facebook and public and private high-growth companies such as Netflix, Dropbox and Blue Apron.
