Sharecare, an Atlanta, GA-based digital health and wellness engagement platform, raised $25m in funding.
The round was led by Wellington Management Company ($20m) with participation from health care system Trinity Health ($5m).
The company intends to use the funds for development and delivery of mobile products and services.
Created by Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz in 2010, Sharecare provides a predictive and personalized platform that allows people to create a comprehensive health profile and connect to evidence-based programs and health professionals they need. The company has raised a total of $160m in financing to date.
