Sumoware, a Finnish developer of cloud-based apps for creative people, secured a funding of undisclosed amount.
Vendep Startup Fund made the investment.
The company intends to use the capital for international growth and expansion of sales and business development team.
Founded in 2014 by Lauri Koutaniemi, Sumoware provides B2B customers with web-based tools for customization and personalization of individual products.
Its consumer market product Sumo Paint, which has over 30 million users worldwide, is an online image editor, photo editor and painting application that works in a browser.
Customers and partners include Google, Rovio and Cajo Technologies.
