Edo, a Rome, Italy-based startup that provides an app to organize and share digital content, raised €150k in seed funding.
Backers in the round included TIM Ventures, the corporate seed investment arm of Telecom Italia, as well as Club Italia Investimenti 2.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow the platform and expand operations.
Led by Eduardo Festa, CEO, and Marco Muratore, CTO, edo provides a mobile app that allows users to browse, view, access, edit and share files, photos, and links synced from all their devices. Files are organized in thematic categories while the shared ones are classified according to people. It features two areas: “personal” for files and “contacts” for email contacts.
The app is currently available on Google Play here.
In 2013, the company participated in TIM #Wcap, the Telecom Italia-led accelerator program.
