VUV Analytics, Inc., an Austin, TX-based manufacturer of a vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) detector, closed a $9m Series A and venture debt financing.
The round was led by S3 Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to further advance and expand adoption of its solutions.
Led by newly named CEO Clark Jernigan, and founder and Senior VP of Business Development Sean Jameson, VUV provides VGA-100, a VUV absorption spectroscopy instrument, for both qualitative and quantitative analysis, with minimal calibration and sample preparation needs.
