Bit Stew Systems Raises $17.2M in Series B Funding

Bit Stew Systems LogoBit Stew Systems, a Vancouver, CA-based provider of Software Defined Operations platform for the Industrial Internet, raised an additional $17.2m in Series B funding round.

The round was led by GE Ventures with participation from existing investors Cisco Investments and Yaletown Venture Partners, and new investors BDC Capital and others.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by Kevin Collins, CEO, Bit Stew Systems provides a (MIx Core™) platform which automates data ingestion, applies machine intelligence to learn patterns in the data, allowing industrial companies to discover actionable insights that optimize operational performance.
The company, which employs more than 80 people, is currently expanding operations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
