Instart Logic, a Palo Alto, CA-based cloud application delivery provider, closed a $43m expansion funding round.
The round was led by new investors Four Rivers Group and Hermes Growth Partners, with participation from existing investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, and Tenaya Capital.
The company, which also announced the addition of Rafael Torres as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Shailesh Shukla as vice president of products and strategy, and Justin Fitzhugh as vice president of technical operations, intends to use the funds to accelerate hiring, research and development, and global expansion.
Led by founder and CEO Manav Mital, Instart Logic provides software-defined application delivery technology for performance challenges inherent in wireless connections. It allows organizations to provide fast and visually immersive experiences on any device. Customers include more than 400 e-commerce and SaaS companies such as Nasty Gal, Shutterstock and Evite.
