mnubo, a Montreal, Canada-based Internet of Things (IoT) data analytics startup, raised $6m in Series A financing round.
The round was led by White Star Capital, a transatlantic venture fund operating between London, New York and Montreal, with participation from McRock Capital, a dedicated Industrial IoT fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its global commercial team, enhance the user experience and accelerate its ongoing data science and machine learning initiatives.
Led by Frederic Bastien, co-founder and CEO, mnubo provides a SaaS-based Big Data and Analytics platform for the IoT that delivers real-time analytics, strategic insights, predictions and enabling richer applications.
It allows manufacturers to ingest, organize, clean and enrich their sensor data, and integrate the real-time insights and predictions into applications and business processes.
The company serves customers in wearables, home, automotive and industrial environments across North America, Europe and Asia.
