StrongDM, a NY-based monitoring service that detects real-time data errors, raised $800k in seed funding.
The round was led by Bloomberg Beta with participation from Data Collective, SocialStarts and Jerry Neumann, among others.
Led by Co-Founder and CEO Elizabeth Zalman and CTO Justin McCarthy, and CMO Schuyler Brown, strongDM provides a monitoring service that provides automated real-time data error detection for businesses to avoid the costs of bad decisions based on faulty data and make data-driven decisions based on the result of accurate information.
It requires no manual set-up allowing non-technical teams to document business rules and ensure nothing is lost in translating to code.
