Azimo, a London, UK-based digital money transfer platform, secured $20m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Frog Capital with participation from MCI Investments, e.ventures and Greycroft Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and to continue its pan-European growth and to target new markets in North America and Asia.
Founded in 2012 by CEO Michael Kent, Azimo provides online and smartphone-based money transfer platform allowing people to send money to over 200 countries.
The company’s advisors on this round were FT Partners and Dorsey and Whitney.
