Dollar Shave Club, a Los Angeles, CA-based ecommerce company that delivers personal grooming products to its online subscribers every month, raised $75m in Series D funding round.
Backers included existing investors Venrock, TCV and Forerunner Ventures, new investor Dragoneer and an unnamed strategic investor.
The company intends to use the funds to hire staff, to expand adoption of its existing non-razor products and to develop new products.
Led by CEO Michael Dubin, Dollar Shave Club ships razors and grooming products (post-shave and bath wipes) to subscribers.
The company currently employs 120 people.
