Envelop VR, a Bellevue, WA-based provider of enterprise software that allows businesses and consumers to create, work and play in a virtual reality environment, secured $2m in seed funding.
Backers included Hank Vigil and Fritz Lanman (Acequia Capital), Rudy Gadre, Shana Fisher (High Line Venture Partners), Howard Morgan, Geoff Entress, and Sujal Patel, among others.
The company intends to use the funds to continue the design and development of its software offering, as well as to help build out its staff.
Founded in 2014 by Bob Berry, co-founder and CEO, and Jon Mavor, chief technology officer, Envelop VR is advancing enterprise and productivity software that will allow virtual reality (VR) content developers to work and create content while in their own 3D, immersive environment (VRinVR).
