-

homesuiteHomesuite, a Palo Alto, CA-based furnished rental platform, raised $2.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Foundation Capital with participation from Mike Evans (co-founder of GrubHub) and Pierre Lamond.

The company will use the funds to expand operations.

Led by David Adams, founder, Homesuite has just launched a monthly furnished rental brokerage. Available throughout the bay area, the platform allows anyone to lease a monthly rental, with furniture, through a curated, personalized service controlled by a licensed broker. Users can access an inventory of vetted, furnished housing, catering to both corporate relocation clients and anyone looking for a place to live without a long-term lease.
