LiveIntent, a New York-based e-mail marketing company, secured $32.5m in funding.
The round was led by FTV Capital with participation from Battery Ventures, First Round Capital and Shasta Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Liron Gitig, a partner at FTV, has been added to LiveIntent’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance the technology platform.
Led by founder and CEO Matt Keiser, LiveIntent is a platform for advertising and marketing in email leveraging the anonymized email address for people-based marketing. It works with over 400 brands, 750 publishers and reaches roughly 90 million anonymized unique users per month, half of whom are on mobile.
In 2014, the company opened up its first international office in London adding to Austin and Detroit.
