Locent, a Los Angeles-based SaaS text-messaging platform focused on the phone order market, raised an undisclosed amount of funding.
The investment was made by Chaac Ventures, a seed venture capital (VC) fund focused on Princeton University’s top alumni tech founders.
Founded by Matt Joseph, Princeton class of 2010, Locent has developed SaaS platform that will allow merchants to expand their capabilities to sell products and services over SMS (text) technology.
