Rancher Labs, a Cupertino, CA-based developer of Docker infrastructure software, raised $10m in Series A funding.
Backers included Mayfield and Nexus Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds for further product development and expansion of its engineering and development teams.
Led by Sheng Liang, co-founder and CEO, Shannon Williams, vice president of sales and marketing, Darren Shepherd, chief architect, and Will Chan, vice president of engineering, Rancher Labs is developing innovative solutions for container infrastructure, including networking, load balancing, monitoring and storage, designed specifically for containers. Its open source software allows organizations to run containers in production, across any cloud.
