Danish SEED Capital established its third venture capital fund, which has held the first close at DKK 500 million.
Backers in the fund, which has a final target of DKK 750 million, included ATP, Dansk Vækstkapital, The Danish Growth Fund and Augustinus Fonden, among others.
Established in 2004 and led by Managing Partner Ulla Brockenhuus-Schack, the firm aims to invest in high-tech companies within IT and Medtech.
During the last year, it has exited Contera Pharma, Sense, EpiTherapeutics, Libratone and Endomondo while Windar Photonics was admitted to trading on AIM. Its portfolio includes Trustpilot, Vivino, Mofibo, Observe Medical, Blueprinter, Reapplix and Abeo.
