Bugsnap, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an automated crash-detection platform for developers, raised $7.2m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Benchmark with participation from existing investor Matrix Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations. It is hiring.
Co-founded by CEO James Smith and CTO Simon Maynard, Bugsnag provides software teams with an automated crash detection platform for their web and mobile applications.
To date, the solution has processed over 10 billion application crashes from thousands of top technology companies, including Square, OpenTable, StubHub. CBS Interactive, GitHub and Slack.
