Calendar42, a Delft, The Netherlands-based provider of a real-time travel & data information platform, raised over €1m in funding.
Backers included informal investors and current shareholders.
The company intends to use the funds to expand organization, infrastructure and the platform and prepare for an international rollout. It is hiring.
Founded by Michel Boerrigter and Jasper Hartong as a spin-off from TU Delft in 2011, Calendar42 provides a software platform that integrates real-time data from the world with algorithms to make real-time information available via such applications as scheduling, human resource planning, public transport, logistics. The company is active in various business markets including construction, temporary staffing industry, health care, public transportation, events and festivals industry, government, insurance and financial services.
