Samsung Venture made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow operations.

Led by Lee Essner, President and COO, Jukin Media is a global entertainment company powered by user-generated video content. The platform receives more than one billion monthly views across platforms.
Jukin produces “World’s Funniest” on FOX, and is the owner/operator of the global comedy powerhouse FailArmy.
Additionally, the company provides a wide range of enterprise solutions (licensing, syndication, white-label production, clearance, and other services) that allow premium brands, publishers, and media networks to commercially utilize user generated videos.
In 2014, Jukin Media raised a total of $2.2 million from BDMI, Maker Studios, Karlin Ventures, Peter Guber, Allen DeBevoise, Richard Wolpert, Brad Zions, Canyon Creek Capital, Kombo Ventures, and Launchpad LA.
