Global investment firm KKR along with Hines Italia Value Added Fund, a fund managed by Hines Italia SGR, and COIMA, acquired five telecom assets leased to Telecom Italia, for €49m.
The assets were acquired from “Tecla Fondo Uffici“, a closed ended fund managed by Prelios SPR.
The portfolio has a total area of 35,500 square metres. It consists of five separate sites, in Rome, Monza, Parma, San Remo and Pavia.

KKR, together with Hines Italia SGR and COIMA, makes its first real estate acquisition in Italy

LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–KKR, a leading global investment firm, together with Hines Italia Value Added Fund, a fund managed by Hines Italia SGR, and COIMA, today announced the acquisition of five telecom assets leased to Telecom Italia. The assets were acquired from “Tecla Fondo Uffici”, a closed ended fund managed by Prelios SPR, for €49 million.

The portfolio has a total area of 35,500 square metres. It consists of five separate sites, in Rome, Monza, Parma, San Remo and Pavia.
Since launching a dedicated real estate platform in 2011, KKR has committed over $2 billion to 50 real estate transactions in the U.S., Europe and Asia as of Q1 2015. The real estate team consists of over 30 dedicated investment professionals.
