Pickup, an Addison, Texas-based developer of an on demand delivery app, completed their seed fund round of $600k.
The company intends to use the funds to automate the on-demand service and continue technology development to support national growth.
Led by Brenda Stoner, founder and CEO, Pickup provides a mobile service to consumers and businesses that need a pickup truck and a hand to move their goods. The on-demand technology and mobile apps match independently owned and operated pickup trucks and trusted drivers with customers who need them.
Founded in 2014, the service has been initially launched in the DFW Metroplex, and is expanding.
