SuperAwesome, a London, UK-based digital kids’ company, raised $7m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Twenty Ten Capital with participation from Hoxton Ventures, Henry Chamberlain and Jamie Kirkwood of IBIS TMT, Sandbox & Co. and others. In conjunction with the funding, Parminder Basran of Twenty Ten Capital joined SuperAwesome’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth of its team in North America and to continue expansion in Southeast Asia.
Founded in 2013 and led by Dylan Collins, CEO, SuperAwesome is a kids digital marketing platform reaching almost a quarter of a billion kids each month across mobile, web and online video.
It provides:
– AwesomeAds, a kid-safe, COPPA-compliant ad platform used by brands and agencies in the US, UK, Australia and Southeast Asia including Lego, Warner Bros, Hasbro, Disney, Nintendo and others.
– Kids Web Services (KWS) platform offering compliance-as-a-service tools to kids content creators.
– SuperAwesome Insights, a dedicated Research and Insights arm used by a number of FMCG brands both inside and outside the kids market.
