Benetel, a Dublin, Ireland-based wireless technology company, raised €750k in seed funding.
The funding was raised from the AIB Seed Capital fund, administered by Dublin BIC, and expand into international markets, including the UK, the US, South America, Asia and eastern Europe.
The company intends to use the funds to create 15 jobs, mainly engineers who specialize in small cell technology.
Founded in 2001 by a team of engineers and led by chief executive officer Adrian O’Connor, Benetel provides design services and test systems and LTE hardware platforms to wireless telecom infrastructure equipment makers.
The company now employs 35 people.
