Docady, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based mobile app that allows people to manage documents, raised $1.5m in seed funding.
Backers included Pitango Venture Capital, Disrupt-ive by Tal Barnoach, Eilon Tirosh and former AOL video execs.
The company intends to use the funds to expand to additional platforms such as Android and continue enhancing the Docady app with new features and services.
Launched in May 2015 by CEO Nadav Naaman and CTO Nadav Weizmann, Docady provides an application that brings together multiple features and functionalities to ensure that users can get access to their documents when they need them. Its Document Discovery engine allows users to collect existing copies of digital documents, and SmartDoc intelligence to understand the data in documents and notify users of upcoming deadlines.
