Genee Raises $1.45M in First Funding

GeneeGenee, a San Francisco and Mountain View, CA-based personal assistant for scheduling meeting times, raised $1.45m in its first funding round.

Backers included Uj Ventures, Streamline Ventures, Garnett Ventures and additional angel investors.

The company will use the funds to continue to develope the platform and expand operations.

Founded in 2014 by CEO Ben Cheung and Charles Lee, Genee provides a cloud-based artificial intelligence platform that interprets natural language through a core interface that plugs directly into email and other communication tools to pull together calendars across multiple systems and optimize and render the best scheduling decisions for users based on their habits and priorities.
The platform has entered public beta and is available on iTunes or at www.genee.me.
