Klaviyo, a Boston, MA-based intelligent platform for ecommerce email campaigns, raised $1.5M in funding.
Backers included Accomplice and angels David Cancel, Elias Torres and TJ Mahoney.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in development and sales/marketing.
Founded in 2012 by Andrew Bialecki and Ed Hallen, Klaviyo has developed a system that analyzes disparate and often real-time data points, about individual customers and prospects, in order to automate personalized communications. The solution is being used at thousands of ecommerce companies to maximize return on email campaigns.
