Reverie Language Technologies Raises $4M in Series A Funding

reverie2Reverie Language Technologies, a Bengaluru, India-based local language technologies company, raised $4m in series A funding.

Backers included Aspada Investment Company and Qualcomm, through its venture investment arm, Qualcomm Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Sahil Kini, Vice President, Aspada, will be joining Reverie’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to increase its presence in the consumer Internet, financial services, government, and enterprise software verticals, to build and grow its sales and marketing efforts in geographies such as the Middle East and South East Asia.

Led by Arvind Pani, Co-founder and CEO, Reverie provides an cloud-based enterprise-class Language-as-a-Service platform for apps and content go multilingual.
The solution gives users the opportunity to deliver content in real-time in over 50 global languages with no need to rewrite any piece of software.
