Spredfast, an Austin, TX-based social software platform, acquired Shoutlet, a Madison, Wisconsin-based social data integration platform.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Spredfast adds a social campaign builder, social CRM data, and expanded integrations that power consumer insights to its product portfolio. As part of the integration, Shoutlet headquarters and staff (led by President and Co-Founder Aaron Everson), which supports global customers like Best Buy, Four Seasons, and Lowes, will become Spredfast’s newest development center.
Led by Rod Favaron, President and CEO, Spredfast provides a social platform for marketers to manage their brand and connect with consumers in the social world.
The company currently serves over 600 customers, which manage over one billion social connections across 84 countries.
