Veritas Collaborative, LLC, a Durham, North Carolina-based specialty hospital system for the treatment of eating disorders, received a majority equity investment from private equity firm Vestar Capital Partners.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the proceeds to expand its operations.
Co-founded in 2010 by President, and Chief Executive Officer Stacie McEntyre, Executive Board Chairman Jeff Clark and Senior Vice President, and Chief Strategy and Clinical Integrity Officer Chase Bannister, Veritas Collaborative is a specialty hospital system for the treatment of eating disorders. The company’s first flagship hospital centers on the care of children and adolescents with severe eating disorders.
