WizRocket, a San Francisco, CA-based in-app customer experience solution, raised $8M in new funding.
Backers included Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its prescriptive mobile ad platform.
Led by Chief Marketing Officer Malcolm Friedberg, WizRocket is a free and scalable platform that enables brands to develop a relevant and targeted dialogue with their customers. Through its advanced customer profiling, the platform gives marketers the ability to adapt, target and customize user notifications.
The new funding follows an initial $1.6M seed round led by Accel Partners.
