Blue Jeans Network, a Mountain View, California-based provider of video collaboration services, secured $76.5m in new funding.
The round was led by New Enterprise Associates with participation from previous investors Accel, Battery Ventures and Norwest Venture Partners, and new investors Glynn Capital, Quadrille Capital, and Derek Jeter, among others.
The company, which brought total overall financing to $175m, intends to use the funds to accelerate global growth with market expansion in Europe, Asia and Australia.
Led by Krish Ramakrishnan, CEO, Blue Jeans Network provides a cloud-based video collaboration solution that connects business video conference room systems like Cisco and Polycom with consumer desktop and mobile solutions like Skype and Google.
Today, the company provides over 1 billion minutes of real time video collaboration annually to over 25 million participants around the world.
