HouseCall Raises $6M in Series A Funding

houseproHouseCall, a San Diego, CA-based mobile platform for running home services companies, raised $6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by August Capital with participation from existing investor e.ventures, and Michael Beaudoin, former Co-CEO and Co-founder of HomeAdvisor.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing, sales and customer service team to grow adoption of its mobile operations software platform.

Since launching nationwide at the beginning of 2015, the HouseCall platform has been adopted in over 700 cities in the US and Canada.

Led by Ian Heidt, CEO, HouseCall provides a mobile operations software platform for home service companies including carpet cleaning, window washing, maid service, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and more. The software digitally manages all operations processes, including providing estimates, scheduling appointments, dispatching service technicians, managing jobs, invoicing, processing credit cards and re-marketing.
