infinite io, an Austin, Texas-based developer of a Network-based storage controller, completed a $3.4m funding round.
This round was led by Chicago Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and to support its go-to-market partners.
Led by Mark Cree, CEO, infinite io provides the NSC-110 Network-based Storage Controller, which migrates inactive data to low-cost public or private cloud storage, reducing storage cost while enhancing the performance of actively used data.
The company’s controllers allow IT managers to integrate new storage technologies, such as cloud storage and flash memory, into existing environments with no changes to applications, storage systems, network file paths, file systems or the user experience.
