LookLive, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based platform for shopping inspiration from TV shows, artists and other celebrities, raised €2M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Liberty Global Ventures and Volta Ventures.
The company will use the new funding to accelerate platform development and partnerships with broadcast and consumer brands.
Led by Christopher Archer, CEO, LookLive uses deep machine learning to identify products, such as apparel, shoes and accessories, in TV shows and images, creating contextual shopping experiences for consumers, enhanced user engagement, and advanced advertising opportunities for brands and publishers.
Currently focusing on fashion and apparel, LookLive will soon add music, location, furniture, automobiles and other items.
