MoEngage Raises $4.25M in Series A Funding

moengageMoEngage, a Bangalore, India- and San Francisco, CA-based user analytics and engagement platform for mobile apps, raised $4.25m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Helion Venture Partners with participation from Exfinity Ventures and angel investors Kunal Bahl, Rohit Bansal and Raghunandan.

The company intends to use the funds to launch their platform globally and continue to build out their mobile marketing automation platform.

Founded by Raviteja Dodda and Yashwanth Kumar in July, 2014, MoEngage provides a user analytics and engagement platform for mobile app companies to retain and engage users by enabling to deliver individual-level personalized interactions via push notifications, in-app recommendations, email campaigns and other retargeting channels.
Along with new funding, the company will unveil three new capabilities including Uninstall Tracking and Analytics, Geo-fencing Capabilities and Smart Email Campaigns. MoEngage currently works with leading consumer-internet companies in India including Snapdeal, Cleartrip, OLA’s TaxiForSure, Gaana, OYO Rooms, Yatra and Redbus.
In the US, the company has an office in San Francisco and currently works with Sell It and SpotHero.
