PlayGiga, a Madrid, Spain-based game delivery platform, recently raised €5m in venture capital funding.
The deal was closed in July 2015.
Backers included Adara Ventures, Caixa Capital Risc, Inveready and Bankinter.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth internationally.
Founded by César Valencia and led by Juan Gili, General Manager, PlayGiga has developed a proprietary platform for real-time cloud delivery of interactive video games. The platform enables casual as well as high-end games to be played on devices (PC, Mac, TV, Tablet, Smartphone…) without the need to download software.
